I’m Leesa, a 29-year-old explorer, dreamer, and advocate living a life filled with passion and joy. My life has already taken me through various chapters, each contributing to the story that has created the life I’m living.

In my younger years, I was taught the traditional way of living… you know the one. Go to school, get a degree, work a normal job for your life, and retire with a pension. I strived for that for a while, but almost immediately rejected the traditional job as the route for me. In the search for “my passion,” I found myself entangled in the hustle of the fitness industry. The constant push for progress and the relentless pursuit of perfection left me feeling drained, both mentally and physically (with a few unhealthy habits, which is a rabbit hole I will not go down today). I was trapped in the rat race, always striving for more, but feeling like I was missing out on life’s true adventures.

During this time, I crossed paths with my partner, a professional athlete who was embracing the life of playing overseas. As I watched him explore new cultures, embrace novel experiences, and meet awesome people along the way, a pang of envy grew within me. I yearned to break free from the mold I thought I needed to be in, to chase after a lifestyle I thought was for only the “lucky ones”.

Amidst the jealousy, however, a spark of inspiration ignited. I realized that I had the power to change the trajectory of my life. I took a leap of faith, redirecting my path toward the unknown. And that leap has led me to where I am today.

Fast forward to the present, and I find myself living a life I once thought was reserved for dreams. Through sheer determination and a newfound passion for remote work, I’ve managed to break free from the confines of traditional employment. Now, with a laptop and an unwavering drive, I work 100% remotely.

This remote lifestyle has granted me the freedom to not only accompany my partner on his overseas adventures but also to chart my course. It’s a life where I can work from anywhere. It’s a life I’ve designed on my terms, prioritizing experiences over possessions, and moments over monotony.

My journey has taught me the immense value of embracing change, overcoming fears, and crafting a life that aligns with my true desires.
